Romig 6th graders may choose between the 6th grade list or the middle school list.

Students read 12 young adult books and battle with students from other schools to see who knows them best.

Meetings:  Tuesdays After School (until 4:45pm) and Fridays Before School (starts at 8:30)

Dungeon & Dragons is a role-playing game where you act as a character who goes on adventures. It is inherently a social activity that requires creative thinking and a little math.

What materials will you need? A pencil and your imagination should do it! The D&D club has lots of books, character sheets and dice. (THERE ISN’T A PARTICIPATION FEE, IT’S FREE)

If interested there will also be a table set aside for MTG and board games.

Make sure you have a pick-up plan for your ride home at 5:45 and if you bring your own rule books, please put your name in them.

Are you curious about how apps, games, and websites are made? Do you want to be a creator, not just a user? Join our Girls Who Code Club and explore the exciting world of coding in a fun, supportive environment! Whether you're a total beginner or already love tech, you'll learn to code and build cool projects together. No experience needed! Bring your creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to try something new.

MathCounts is a national program providing students with enriched math experiences through individual and team competitions. It's is a fun, competitive program for students who enjoy accelerated math and challenging problem-solving.

Romig has been competing in MATHCOUNTS competitions for going on 20 years and has continually placed among the top both locally and nationally.

MATHLETES have traveled to Orlando FL, Washington D. C., and Denver CO, to participate in national MATHCOUNTS competitions.

National Honor Junior Society recognizes scholastic achievement, service, leadership, and outstanding personal character. Our goal is to provide opportunities for service, leadership, and academic and personal growth.

Students are required to earn 10 hours of community service during the year.

In order to apply, students must have a 3.5 GPA for the previous semester.

Meet ROMIG’s Special Olympic Athletes!

Join our athletes for Special Olympic Sports, have lunch twice a month with your partners, join us on Community Based Instruction trips, and make new friends.

The Romig spelliing bee is coordinated by Ms. Kaska.  This year's bee is scheduled for January 12th, 2026 at 1:15 pm.
